Well, well, - the long journey of a feature is coming to an end. Reviews and revisions have been very rewarding following the keen eyes of both Chantelle and Simon. I have had an amazing experience with fantastic clients that can't do enough for their finished product.
I can't wait to post some final looks and stills from the project, it has come up trumps.
Working this week with Simon Larkins and Chantelle Jamieson to get the Screener for Eddy and Viv ready for their submission to Sundance. Full tilt with 1000 shots and fast approaching deadline! Stay tuned.
Spent an afternoon grading 'Shed' with passionate Writer/ Director Mike Green. Started developing some looks and ended up getting 60 shots deep! Fantastic afternoon and I wish I had taken some stills to post but they will come next week.

Grading for the guys at Marine Production. Sam and Paul got me to work some Resolve magic on their latest promo for Cell Bikes. It will be released soon as graphics get finalised.
They have put together some great RED footage and high production values - ripe for the grading. Love collaborating with cool creatives and this one will be a really high end spot.
These are the finished grades that were signed off by Marine. A few grades pushed from cool to warm. Some secondary work blurring and sharpening that ripper Epic raw footage.

SEEDS: An Electronic Opera in Miniature
After many months of collecting original sources and graded versions, the showreel is now up. Many thanks to those involved with the process of reviewing which clips should go or stay and opinions of what was the most appropriate to show for a colourist reel.
Tight schedule today on the final grade for Emissary. Getting the finished product to editor Christian Cicchini for titles and audio sync ready to screen on Saturday.
Sitting with Nick Snelling in the suite today. Devised some looks for some radical day-for-night grades and some flashbacks. Waiting to conform the timeline for the full grade later this week should be great.
Saw some great footage from Liron Gilmore's latest film 'A Safe Place'. Nice and flat originals, just what the doctor ordered. Now lock that edit off!
The talents of Chris Elder back at the helm Directing the latest Thy Art clip. The Purest Strain of Hate has some great backlighting and as always a killer performance from the band. It graded up a treat with the looks we developed for individual sections in the song for both the performance and the narrative components.
